Taught by practice management expert Karen Felsted, with a focus on strategies to grow practice revenue and create revenue opportunities, this track will discuss different ways to develop, track, and measure impact. You’ll walk away with the ability to create, implement, and manage revenue-growing strategies in your practice.

Human Resources

This workshop-based track will focus on three key areas of people management.  Conflict and Coaching will help you better manage difficult situations and conversations, as well as better develop the people in your practice.  People Strategies will give you staffing strategies to help you acquire and keep the right talent.  Recruiting and Interview Skills focuses on best practices and behavioral skills in the interview process.

Innovation

What innovative ideas are shaping the veterinary market, and how can veterinary practices prepare? This featured track will focus on the ever-changing and always-evolving side of the veterinary business, covering topics such as compounding pharmacies and cloud computing.

Practice Financials

Presented by Marsha Heinke, this track will focus on the importance of good accounting practices to provide a meaningful view of practice performance and valuation. With segments on benchmarking, identifying key performance indicators, and more, this track is a must for practice owners and practice managers.

Protect Your Practice

This track will help you keep up with the ever-changing rules and regulations that affect the veterinary business. We’ll cover data security, OSHA, controlled substance management, radiation safety, and more.

Paperless

Interested in going paperless or paper light? Not sure where to start? This series is for you! Learn strategies to use your software more strategically to save time … and trees!

Inventory

Inventory is the second highest expense in a veterinary practice, after payroll. Using your software to manage inventory can save time, streamline efficiencies, and improve results by minimizing human error. This track teaches the various aspects of inventory management through your practice management software.

Marketing
